Residents can now access Township Committee meeting audio directly through the township website for 2026 going forward.
This change was approved unanimously and was introduced to make meeting audio easier to access without requiring a formal OPRA request. Previously, residents who wanted to review a meeting had to go through the records request process, which added time and placed additional workload on the Clerk’s office.
By making audio available online, residents can listen to meetings on their own time, without delays or additional steps. It also allows the Clerk’s office to stay focused on higher-priority administrative work rather than routine requests that can be handled through direct access.
Meeting audio will be posted alongside other public materials, making it easier to follow discussions, understand decisions, and stay informed.
This is a practical step toward improving accessibility and making information easier to obtain for anyone who wants to take a closer look at how decisions are made.
All recordings are uploaded at a "minutes approval" interval. So March 25th will be uploaded on April 8th, etc.
